Have you ever stopped to think about what other people say or think aboiut wen they do a news article on you? Over the years, at least since I was a teacher, there have been several articles done on what I was doing in school or in the community. However I never stopped to think about them until now.
Below is a couple of responses to the article printed by the Southern, a local paper. Kinda makes you think don'tcha know.

Why else would anyone live in Johnston City? The downtown is a joke. Businesses are falling right and left. The town is broke. Robert: The last paragraph makes me mad ... what was this written in responce to? I'm assuming something that you posted? If it's possible I would like to read the original article that this person was responding to. Obviously this is a classic case of ignorance.
ReplyDeleteAs an outsider(of JC) I have met Mr Poff and worked with him. He is extremely interested in JC and wants to make changes. I think if he is supported and given a chance to help JC he will accomplish a lot. Give the man a chance to do something before writing him off. It takes Mr Poff's grass roots approach to make a difference. This is where change begins...
